A cornerstone of international business and economic studies, monetary economics has become a principal area of public interest and debate with the onset of the global economic recession. In studying monetary theory and monetary policies, students will become familiar with monetary supply and demand, central banks, monetary theory, monetary policies, banking, and the role of monetary policies in economic policies.
