MACROECONOMICS

This course introduces students to macroeconomics and macroeconomic theory. The course will cover national accounting, basic macroeconomic models, monetary and fiscal policies, and theories of growth and development, as well as contemporary themes in macroeconomics including the medium and long-term effects of expectancy, the consequences of openness in modern economies, the role of information, and analyses of economic growth.
