DIU and ICD Joint Graduate Program in IR and Cultural Diplomacy

Dubrovnik International University (DIU) and the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Germany are currently offering a graduate Master of Arts program in International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy. The MA graduate degree is jointly administered between Dubrovnik and Berlin, enabling students to spend a semester in each of these beautiful and fascinating locations.

The program combines the traditional academic components of international relations with a new focus on the role of soft power and cultural diplomacy in contemporary global affairs. Students are taught and advised by a faculty that has not only distinguished itself in an academic setting, but has been at the very forefront of international economic and political policy making.

Students pursuing a degree in International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy will discover that the curriculum and faculty allow for close contact with experts and organizations in the field of international relations.  This will prepare them for evolving careers in academia and all public and private international sectors.

The key objectives of the MA in International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy are to leave students with a strong foundation in international relations theory and contemporary diplomatic strategies; to allow them to explore and examine an area of particular interest; and to help them gain practical experience through internships and research studies in relevant international institutions.
