REGIONAL COMPARATIVE STUDIES

This course will focus on regional demographic models. It will introduce students to the process of population development, basic demographic structures, demographic trends, demographic policy models in the world and labor policy in Europe. It will also cover comparative demographic regimes in the world with a special focus on Europe, as well as contemporary migration trends and diverse integration policies, which will be analyzed in relation to family structures and political systems.
