Scholarships
Dubrovnik International University is proud to offer scholarships to our Croatian and international students. While there is no question that a private University can be costly, DIU's financial aid program is committed to providing all qualified students with a chance to achieve a top-rate education. We therefore strongly encourage students to consider Dubrovnik International University regardless of their financial means. If admitted, applicants can be confident that we will do the utmost to meet their financial requirements.
“Excellence” Endowment Fund
In order to ensure scholarship opportunities for our students, DIU has created an endowment fund under the name “Excellence” that will provide both scholarships for students coming to DIU as well as for DIU students wishing to spend a semester abroad.
Dubrovnik International University will provide scholarships for students based on educational excellence and financial need. “Excellence” will generally provide scholarships in the amount equaling 20% to 50% of tuition costs. Although each application will be evaluated on an individual basis, students are expected to have a 4.0 grade point average in order to qualify for a grant. However, we will take into account special circumstances in determining aid awards.
The DIU financial aid application is a two step process. We ask all students to submit their initial aid application as soon as they have formally applied to the University.

After the student is admitted, we will ask for proof of financial need in order to determine the final scholarship amount. We will contact students to provide them with further details upon their admission.
Other scholarship opportunities
DIU will likewise seek out further means of obtaining student scholarships, and is continuously exploring other sources for student financing. We will gladly assist all admitted students in applying for various available grants and scholarships.
Loan Program
As DIU is not offering full scholarships, and our grants are used to cover tuition costs only, we advise students to apply for a student loan to help cover the full cost of their education. DIU is happy to announce that we have formed a partnership with Zagrebačka Banka to provide our students with the best possible loans.
