Admissions

DIU does not consider any one element of an application exclusively. Rather, our admissions panel considers academic achievement as well as personal qualities such as strength of character, motivation and the ability and willingness to take on new academic challenges. Additional factors, such as essay, recommendations and interviews are also a vital part of the admissions process. As an international university our aim is to attract students from a variety of backgrounds and countries that will foster a unique and diverse learning environment.

Deadlines:

Applications to DIU can be sent at any time. However, we encourage potential students to apply as early as possible due to limited class sizes (only 30 students per program).

For 2010, there are four terms in the admissions process:

  • The first deadline is March 12th, 2010. Students eligible for interview will be notified  within a period of one week. Students will be notified of the admission committee's decision within a period of one week following the interview.
  • The second deadline is April 30th, 2010. Students eligible for interview will be notified  within a period of one week. Students will be notified of the admission committee's decision within a period of one week following the interview.
  • The third deadline is May 28th, 2010. Students eligible for interview will be notified  within a period of one week. Students will be notified of the admission committee's decision within a period of one week following the interview.
  • The fourth deadline is July 9th, 2010. Students eligible for interview will be notified  within a period of one week. Students will be notified of the admission committee's decision within a period of one week following the interview.
  • Enrollment days: July 15th 2010 and July 16th 2010.
  • The deadline for late admissions is August 27th, 2010. Students eligible for interview will be notified within a period of one week. Students will be informed of the admission committee's  decision within the period of one week following the interview.

Tuition:

DIU tuition for the undergraduate programs is 3500 € per semester.
